1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you sign in via Google, we receive your public profile information from Google.

Usage Data

We automatically collect data about how you use NEET Ninja, including:

• Questions attempted, answers selected, and time spent per question
• Quiz scores, completion rates, and mode preferences
• Subject and chapter-level performance patterns
• Device type, browser, and general location (country level)

Payment Information

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never store your card numbers, UPI IDs, or bank details. Razorpay handles all payment data under their own privacy policy and PCI-DSS compliance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Run your account and deliver NEET Ninja features (analytics, AI explanations, progress tracking)
• Generate your personal performance reports and weak-area detection
• Improve the product — identify confusing questions, optimize quiz modes, fix bugs
• Send essential account emails (password resets, subscription confirmations)

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.

3. Data Sharing

We share data only with:

• Razorpay — for payment processing
• Hosting providers — to store and serve the application (servers located in India)
• Analytics services — aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve product quality

We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

NEET Ninja uses:

• Session cookies — to keep you logged in
• Local storage — to cache quiz progress and preferences for faster loading

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party cookie-based analytics.

5. Data Retention

Your account data and practice history are retained as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we remove all personal data within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated analytics data (which cannot identify you) may be retained indefinitely to improve the product.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data — view your profile and practice history anytime in your account
• Correct your data — update your name or email in account settings
• Delete your account — request complete deletion by emailing us
• Export your data — request a copy of your practice data

7. Security

We use HTTPS everywhere, encrypted database storage, and secure authentication flows. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. While no system is 100% secure, we follow industry-standard practices to protect your information.

8. Children's Privacy

NEET Ninja is designed for students aged 16 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has created an account, please contact us and we will promptly remove it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Significant changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the most recent version.
